TIPS  FOR PARENTS

  • Sing with your child every day!
  • Get out the pots, pans, and wooden spoons and have a family band.
  • Play along with a favorite CD, the radio, or your own singing ( the best!!)
  • Younger brothers and sisters (espcially babies) enjoy keeping the beat with almost anything that makes noise!
  • Dancing, bouncing, and rocking  all help children feel the beat of music.
  • A child's musical ability begins to develop from birth....... it is never too early to begin singing, rocking, bouncing, and dancing with your babies!
  • Don't worry if you think your voice "isn't good enough" to sing to your children.  They love to hear you and will want to copy what you do.
